One is either a Roman Catholic (RC) (the original Christians) or a 

Anglican (C of E) (created by Henry VIII and the official state religion in the UK)

or a Non-conformist (NC), In English church history, the Nonconformists are Protestant Christians who did not "conform" to the governance and usages of the established state church,
